Terms & Conditions - the basics
Having said that, Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) are binding terms defined by you, as the owner of this website. The T&C set forth the legal boundaries governing the activities of the website visitors, or your customers, while they visit or engage with this website. The T&C are meant to establish the legal relationship between the client and servicer, visitors and website owner.

**Scope of Practice and Limitations**
**What We Provide:**
- Faith-based counseling and spiritual guidance
- Integration of biblical principles with counseling techniques
- Emotional support and spiritual direction
- Goal-oriented therapeutic conversations
- Prayer and spiritual reflection (when appropriate)
**What We DO NOT Provide:**
- Medical or psychiatric treatment
- Diagnosis of mental health conditions
- Prescription of medications
- Crisis intervention or emergency services
- Legal, financial, or medical advice
**Client Responsibilities**
**The Client agrees to:**
- Participate honestly and openly in sessions
- Respect appointment times and cancellation policies
- Notify counselor of any mental health medications or treatments
- Seek immediate medical attention for any medical or psychiatric emergencies
- Understand that faith-based counseling is the specific approach used for guidance towards a better understanding of past and current situations in life, through the wholistic teachings in the bible
**Counselor Responsibilities**
**The Counselor agrees to:**
- Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Provide services within scope of training and certification
- Refer to appropriate professionals when services exceed scope of practice
- Respect client's individual faith journey and questions
- Maintain current certifications and continuing education
**Confidentiality**
Information shared in sessions are COMPLETELY confidential except in cases where:
- Client provides written consent to share information
- Legal duty to report suspected child or elder a

What to include in the T&C document
Generally speaking, T&C often address these types of issues: Who is allowed to use the website; the possible payment methods; a declaration that the website owner may change his or her offering in the future; the types of warranties the website owner gives his or her customers; a reference to issues of intellectual property or copyrights, where relevant; the website owner’s right to suspend or cancel a member’s account; and much, much more.
